Don't tempt me!

With the 260 kit, what sort of MPG do you get?
I bought the car as a 260, so can't compare to standard.

Trip computer figures...

Town, b-roads etc - 25mpg
Long motorway cruise - 30-32mpg (I have aftermarket cruise control fitted, which can help)
Weekend blast - under 20mpg...

I only do around 5000 miles a year normally,,so it doesn't bother me.

It's about what I get according to the trip computer.

I currently get 33/35, so a drop in 10 isn't too bad, plus my mileage will drop further again soon.

Wow... although I do reset mine before big trips or otherwise with each tank.

I reset mine each tank fill up. But I tend to look at distance covered per tank, rather than cost to fill and MPG.

There no real difference between the before and after MP260 just depends on how much you exercise the right foot. Sadly I maybe selling mine soon as just don't get the use of it. Only managed 750 miles between mot's last year. Shame but someone will get a decent car, if I stick it in the classifieds. It will free up garage space as well for something a bit different.

My brother's possibly on the lookout for one. Drop me a line through my profile if you're thinking of selling.

Its a 5 door in Sea Grey ST2 2007. Has the MP260 , plus Ferrita exhaust, cobra downpipe and sports cat, AS induction. 52K miles , RS clutch, Eibach suspension, whiteline ARB , Mintex grooved brakes,Silicon boost hoses with Symposer delete, full Alpine sound/ DVD/ parrot system. All done 10 k miles ago when I bought it, nearly 5 years ago. Wheels all clean , redone last year, Assymetric tyres. Needs nothing other than an MOT next month and an oil change. All standard parts kept as well, except exhaust. Will be sad to let it go and all new potential owners will be vetted LOL. Kept tucked in a garage with an optimiser. Only marks on the body is the lower underneath at the front has scuffed a speed hump and a small paint blemish on the front bumper. Every time I drive it, it stops me selling it.

Hi all bit late to the thread lol but I've got a new to me pfl mk2 st with 41k miles on a 07 plate so 10 yr old. It has the mountune 260 upgrade. Anyone here still running there st. Without the mod? Wondering if i really need it. Also the torque steer puts me off a bit when overtaking seems if wet things could go wrong very quickly

Still running the ST.

I had the block mod done when I had the belts done - which was a few years ago.

I've found them to be quite tyre sensitive. Certainly no issues with Contis, but Dunlops weren't great. That said mine isn't exactly standard...

Still have my ST ('57 plate) though seriously thinking of changing now after 3 years.
Mine is remapped with Dreamscience Perf+ with a Cobra Venom exhaust. Just added white Bola B1 alloys that look the part.
Not sure why your torque steer is so bad, it has a little but nowhere near to be worrisome? How does the steering feel? Maybe check the geometry or bushes? Just had my bushes replaced and Cobra 20/40 springs fitted by SCC as I always felt the ST sat too high at the rear.

I had a full Hunter alignment done on mine and it transformed the handling. Well worth it.
