Help locating parts for a mk5 XR3i

Hi,
I am in the process of resurrecting our mk5 xr3i after being in storage for the last 7 years.
I am having trouble locating a combined fuel pump/sender unit. The pump works but not the sender. I have dropped it into an auto electrician in the hope it can repiared. Has anyone had this problem or have they successfully fitted the item from the mk6 escort?
The other problem is, I need the front seats repairedon the side bolsters but want to keep to the original colour the trim code is LL, again any suggestions?
