Ford Mondeo Blaupnkt NX - Going mad!!

Help - Another freind has now approached me for help.

58 plate Ford Mondeo with Balupunkt Nx - and it controls everything in the car.

When the car is started, it works ok for a few minutes and then turns itself off. Not drastic in itself - but when it controls air con etc - all this goes off.

Can anyone help with a repair or replacement head unit?

This seems to be a common fault judging by the repair services offered on Ebay. I dont trust these - so does anyone know where i could get this repaired?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes?
