Ford Mondeo ST220 - Loose tube in engine bay

Hello,

I own a Ford Mondeo ST220 2004, and when performing some repairs in the engine bay I found a loose tube :



The tube has been cut in this picture, originally it was approximately 0.5m long.

Any idea where this should go? I could not find out..
