3.0 V6 Mk3 Mondeo question

Just wondering - the bodykit of the ST220 rules it out for me (way too conspicuous), but I see that the other 3.0 V6 models have less power.

What's the difference between the engines, and how much cost / work would be invoved in redressing the balance?

I could live without the other features of the ST, but wouldn't want anything much slower.

The 3.0 Mondeo has essentially the U204 (Maverick/Escape) engine so the main engine differences are; intake manifold, cams and calibration.

Hmmm... cams sounds expensive, intake and programming less so. Anyone on here uprated theirs?

Just wondering in what way conspicuous surely you want the extra power and all the trim level and extra toy's that go with the 220 which i would have thought your not going to get on a lower model, granted the 220 is going to stand out a bit more but you don't have to be a boy racer to drive one!

Don't mess about just get a 220! The wife's got one, which I drive when I can get the keys, she's had every Mondeo ST they have made and is hoping they won't be long bring out another!
