Next Harlow Meet

After the good turn out on Saturday, I'm proposing having the next meet on another Saturday afternoon. I suggest that we meet up at McDonalds for the next time - convenient, easy to find, Shell Garage just up the road, not far from some good roads, etc, etc. This way we can then decend on mass to a suitable country pub and don't end up getting split up driving through Harlow.

How about 1.00pm 01 Jun, before England play there first game.

Guys, if you don't come to the meeting your missing out on a good run - it would be nice to have as many types of TVR as possible for the next meeting.

As an aside - I was down at the City meeting tonight and Nobby (Romford) was talking about going to a run-what-you-brung at North Weald drag strip in the middle of June. Anyone fancy finding out how quick there car is and what your reaction time is? It costs £10 to get in and £10 per driver - cheap for a bit of a laugh and only just down the road.......

Called Offord today as it happens - £125.

They said they'd be a bit rushed to fit it in on a Saturday so I'll probably drop it off on a Friday morning, pick up on Saturday.

Hopefully get it done next week, certainly by the next meet

Hi Guys,

The next North Weald public drag day is Sunday 16th June, all being well I'll be there. I've been advised to arrive for around 8:30 to guarantee getting signed on as they have a limit to the number of competitors.
You must wear long sleeves to race and take your driving licence along.
