Hi the complete interior is the same tan as shown on rear arches don't have a choice at the moment I would of preferred black but can't justify the cost , maybe later on after I've got some enjoy ment of driveing car for a while it is quite a dark tan apart from seat centres , and in really good condition to say it's been stood for many years,. Keith

I see Keith, thanks.
We will see how it shows when all is installed, a bit hard to imagine now, orange with tan/brown-ish :-)
I could see it with black-ish alcantara here and there and some other dark-ish leather combo (not to dark) and ofcourse playing with some items/parts to freshen it up to make a great combo.

But...maybe that brown-ish with the orange and all freshed up and the new paint etc, will be very nice as well :-)

good job so far.

I really do like that orange colour. It suits the car really well.

Did you get the headlining made up for you or did you do it yourself?

Enjoying this thread and seeing this old gal come back together, it's already looking fantastic, and yeah, what a fab colour, good choice!

Hi the car came out of factory marigold orange , was going to change to another colour but decided to keep original, glad I did now as it came out well . The head cloth was made up off the original by a local trimmer , should really of got him to fit it but I've started now so will see how it goes. Cheers keith

Thanks always nice to have feed back , the colour is marigold orange as it came from factory you can see on the radio hole in the dash picture , so once I'd decided to go original made it easy , I'm glad people are enjoying the thread , hope as much as I'm enjoying restoring this old girl and even better when she's on the road again ,soon I hope , will keep on with updates cheers, keith

Just an update on wfd400h , got headlining fitted and n/s wndow frame refitted also started to fit sound deadening to inner bulkhead , just contemplating wether to cover inside of bonnet with it see Picts , does anyone have a picture of how door check straps fit mine don't have any but hinges look to have brackets and a threaded hole looks like to take check strap , I could just fit aftermarket leather straps, but would rather have original if possible?

Hello Keith.
Still trying to find a local cine to dvd transfer place locally rather than sending it off mail order and potentially never seeing the arcive material from 1980 again. .
The interior from the factory would have been black as standard..
The retrim carried out by the previous owner to me had it done in that such tasteful way..
As i said before it was also painted Brown..As Orange is in the same spectrum as brown as is tan it will look great still.
I do believe Lamborghini have a similar colour combination ..
Seeing WFD coming together like this is wonderful for me..
How on earth could I leave it in a lock up for 25 odd years..Shameful!

Hi David just as well for me you did I suppose as I wouldn't of got the chance to renovate it , I've just refitted front screen , what a job but it's done , only the back screen to do now , not looking forward to that it's glass and heated as you know and heaven may need a hand with that one of a mate. the interior as I said would of preferred black but I think it will look ok , will keep posting pictures as progessing , would like to see video , regards keith
