Big thanks to a superb service by Dale at Bailey Performance.
He wired in my new megasquirt and mapped my replacement engine to an easy 308 bhp with very good torque throughout.
Thanks to Peter (haircutmike) for selling me a very good honest 4.6 that runs smooth and i know has more to give as the miles pass by.
The car was driven to York immediately after mapping and the morning after ran a 12.77 @ 108 on a cool track.
This knocked 3 tenths of my previous PB without gas so i was already a happy chappy.
The next day the times steadily tumbled resulting in a 12.41 @ 111 which as far as i know is the fastest time for a NA Chimaera or Griffith.
I am now looking forward to returning to York and the meeting at Shakey where i can start to play with a little gas to run deep into the 11's.

I had a plan to build something decent this year bur circumstances have changed so i will be nailing another standardish 4.6 together and be visiting you soon i hope. 500 bhp will be fine cheers

In 2016 with Derek’s help and after Dom/ Jason had added MBE to my car I clocked a 12.6 at Shakey.
How interesting the two cars running same size engine and aftermarket ECU were so close on times n/a
He’s a better gater than me, that’s my excuse.
I like the idea my car is one of the fastest n/a cars

I must add to my earlier post (was it really so long ago? ffs) Dale is the guru with MS, he mapped my adjustable turbo build to 'perfection' with the bonus of 573hp/610lb too. Myself and Neal were amazed when the first thing he did was take it apart and start putting in phaser locked on stun spock heat shields or summat. Dale.
I drove it though South of France and Italy in a heatwave, up through Switzerland with snow on the peaks with not one hiccup. (Last I heard the present owner had toured Portugal in it).If you have MS, get Dale to map it, end of.

we map almost all aftermarket ECUs but we do love MS!
