Went to back home. - had a great time. - Unfortunately Cerbie decided to let me down a couple of miles short of Blackpool. So I had the misfortune to arrive with my pride & joy on the back of a lorry! - Anyway I told the recovery guy(who was a top man!- it gives you confidence when he just walks up to the car and presses the door button without having to ask how to get in!!) to drop the car off at the factory.

So the factory is completely dead, with just the security guard there. We started to lower the car off the lorry, when who should pull up but PW himself in the prototype Tuscan R. - That car is one serious bit of kit! - Also space for kiddie seats in the back! - anyway PW gets out, symptathises with me for cerbies sad demise and organises me another TVR to get me back to the De vere and on with my weekend. - TOPMAN. - I have seen some posts written about poor service, but this time full marks! sometimes faith can be restored.

P.S - Feeling cocky, I mentioned perhaps he could loan me the Tuscan R. - I got one of those "dont push your luck sonny" stares.......

Alistair's borrowed Griff and my SEAC were amongst the last to arrive for the procession and joined near the tail end. We drove past the assembled line which stretched further than it was possible to see (and the road was straight).

To say the line of TVRs was a mile long was no exaggeration. Regulars said they had never seen the end of the line forming up so far out of Blackpool.

Police escort failed to show, so cavalcade itself was a farce; the but sight of everyone getting ready - WOW !!!!!!!!

Did anyone count the TVRs ?
