Whatcha mean ? Isn't that your Tamora hiding behind the black brolly in the photo of the Blue Chimaera

Sorry - I promise to do better next time. I had intended to photo the cars properly. I even had my sound recording gear with me to get decent sound clips. But the wet and cold dampened my enthusiasm and I managed virtually sweet FA.

As was pointed out to me at the event - there weren't any Tuscan S in attendance and I think Flasher's was the only Tamora.

Is it the drivers or their cars ?

hey Flasher,
- At least your car made it the event! - unlike mine on a big lorry!

- Must say, the colour of your car up close is superb!!

Flasher - I have pictures of your Tamora - one of them with smoke coming from the back end - now who's on fire!! You are in good company as the Eclipse Tuscan did the same........

Or the one of your face when you realised a man beat you in the autotest despite you having thirty attempts......

I can still smell your burning clutch from here.......

Just for the record.....

"Great time was had by all, especially Linda (Mrs Biggles). She beat Flasher in the timed drive around the cones on the car park even though she was in a 4.5 Chimaera and he was in his "Buttercup" Tamora. He insists she burnt the clutch out - he 'smelt it' but Flasher still got some heat up trying as best he could to keep up with Linda !!! "

Mmmmm, that would be funny if it were true Mike. But I had a go at the course about an hour before Linda so how was I "trying to keep up" ??? None of the "new" cars (Tuscan,Tamora,Cerb) could get through the slalom cones because of the lack of steering lock with 18" wheels on....
As for the burning clutch, I know what a burning clutch smells like and Linda fried the clutch on the Chim on every run..... I have witnesses....

I noticed you weren't there again this year Mike, when will your Missus let you out next???

Anyway, well done Linda, clutch frying aside you were very quick, but still ultimatley beaten by a man....

I didn't manage to find out how my run was. I'd love to know. Anybody know if the results have been posted anywhere ?

Nacnud - auto test times will be published in Sprint (or the Club site) as soon as I find the sheet of paper they were listed on! Thanks to all of you who braved the test in the wet and miserable conditions we had Sat. It was good to watch, I'm a sissy - only get to drive our Tuscan when it goes in for a service (OK, OK so I OUGHT to be an expert!)

Flasher,
"I noticed you weren't there again this year Mike, when will your Missus let you out next?"

I am deeply hurt you know full well that due to good behaviour I was let out earlier this month for the City Track Day. Didn't see you there though . With a bit of luck I may be let out again for Le Mans.

Still, the report from Back Home was Linda's not mine and she was there. Anyway, glad you had a good time, if I don't see you before will see you at Le Mans where you can buy me a few beers for editing and posting your photos.
