Does anyone know who is best at re-conditioning damaged alloy wheels, based in South West London ??

Give Wicked Wheels a call on 0800 298 5454 and see what they can do.

Seconded - Wicked Wheels franchise in Bagshot refurb'ed my 206GT alloys (all 4 were kerbed) and they came back looking like new!

And roughly what do they charge?

not cheap - about £40-£60 per corner depending on the amount of damage.

Cheers Gerrard,

What exactly do they do? If you have taken small chunks out of the wheel, do they just rub them down so you dont notice them?

Do they do split rims. The rims on my BBS wheels are starting to corrode and one of the rears has been curbed.

Dont know if this may help BUT, I used to use a company in Birmingham called Image wheels. I had some OZ splits, with badly damaged edges, and I couldnt get the new outer rims from anywhere.- Image made me some to fit for not a lot! - the wheels are quite easy to split and re make up again!! - dont know if they still exist?

not exactly sure what they do, but the bead round the lip was totally rebuilt (206 GT alloys are wider than the tyres, so it is dead easy to remove the lip on the wheel!) and any scratches were polished out (maybe? dunno?) - they came back looking like new and were soooooo easy to keep clean (but avoid using a pressure washer for a few months, apparently the new alloy is still quite soft until it's cured properly.)
