You should be able to park across two bays if you are willing to pay double.

I got done a couple of years back for parking outside of the marked bay. I managed to get the ticket cancelled after submitting a powerpoint diagram showing how it was not possible to keep within the bay and get out of the car !!!.

I agree with Darren, and I also think that people who are too fat to sit on one seat ought to pay two fares.....

Chips Away man comes Friday to work his magic. Will report back...
Can anyone provide contact details / www details for Chips Away. I've tried the usual search engines but only get their Franchise Site or a take away chippy (yes Ted and pies). Thanks.

Pleasure, seem to remember that Halfords have a franchise if that helps.

tuscanboy - I did a similar thing in Newcastle once. Got a ticket for parking outside of a marked bay, so I submitted a diagram showing how if they remarked the bays they could get another 3 cars in (it was a small cark park, only about 20 cars). I got off the ticket and they did repaint the parking bays! Sometimes its worth bitchin! Edited by philshort on Saturday 28th April 00:06

why does everyone have it in for 4x4 drivers. i own a TVR and a 4x4 and can manage to park the 4x4 in a standard parking bay without smashing into neighbouring cars or opening my door onto someones bodywork...but then again, i am a bloke.
