Veryyy funny. Seriously though, Nick lives and breathes TVR, perhaps a little more support would be nice!

He's not the only one on here with a serious passion, so maybe he should go away and work on his credability which seems to be the thing in question?

Can we put this thread to bed now please? The original question has been answered and this is just dragging on and on and......... it's a bit like a scab you know you should leave alone but you just keep picking at it wink

Wasn't there a story about one of the racers going to Japan or was that rubbish?
Apparently it was rubbish. The motorshow car that ended up with Bluebird did go to the far east for motorshows though.
I once heard that W112 went to Japan as part of some sponsership/advertising deal with Sony? And was on display at their HQ`s. Perhaps that is connected to that rumour? Apologies to those who want this closed, but I just saw this post and scratched!

I'd say his credibility is a lot higher than some in here; there seem to be a lot of finger pointers, and those who sit on their high horse and peer down their nose. Nick has orchestrated a full rebuild of a TVR at 22 years old. I'd say that's quite an achievement, and gives him more credibility than some of those who are all too quick to laugh at him and take the piss.

And the thread hasn't been fully answered yet, we still don't know where the two original Speed 12s are.

Pot,Kettle, Black Arse surely ?

I happen to disagree, whilst the original post has perhaps been answered in a fashion,it was not your original post so hardly your place to call for its closure.everytime a post like this comes along a little more info/pics comes out of the woodwork which for me is great to try and fit all the pieces of the jigsaw together.
If you took your own advice and stopped baiting Nick then you wouldn't feel the need to scratch your favourite itch and we could all get on with learning about these iconic cars

As pointed out in the post above yours the jigsaw doesn't need piecing together, it's just that not everyone has all the pieces.

I'm not baiting Nick and I've not posted anything here that haven't said direct to him in response to the emails he's sent me.

To be fair Dave (V8 GRF) hasn't said anything out of turn here, it's more some of the other more flippant posts by others.

And Jonny, thank you for your post.

If this was meant to be funny it would be fantastic.

Update???? Pics????
Tuscan was still at the company doing the turbo build.

Engine is at Racing Green, they said that this week the FFF2 head prepped for mine should finally be arriving. Fingers crossed...

Camaro is there to get it's MOT done, and the V5 (actually V55/4) registration. Should be fine once they have the orange LEDs used for the indicators (which I forgot, as I have afterburners (2006 Camaro concept light replicas) installed, American style, so red indicators).

Range Rover passed it's MOT with a remark on the front suspension triangles in need of replacing... re-applying for a V5 there too.

Pascal, you have the patience of a SAINT, here's hoping you get some miles on your car this summer and it is everything you expect it to be.

At the risk of twitching the corpse... Bill Smith was also the first owner of my Cerbera (which I know not just because it says 'Bill Smith' on the papers, HHC sold the car to him new).

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and updates in reply to my original question. It only fuels my passion and I am glad to see so many others have an interest too.

Sorry to anyone who was disappointed I posted this to start with and sorry to anyone who thinks it's gone on too long. I personally have enjoyed reading the updates each day and have found them fascinating.

Fact is, I could think of no better place to ask the questions I have, if I was wrong, I apologise. Although, judging by the response, I would say I wasn't the only person who was interested in a discussion on the Speed 12s as a whole.

Thanks all!
