Where is the Speed 12?
Discussion
Yeah it sucks there is no records or exact number of cars, unless you knew someone who worked on the project. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was the prototype for the speed 12.
And the car now.
I wonder if this was functional at all, the windows are too dark and suggest that there isn't anything to see inside!

When you say now,
Do you mean there as we speak? What's stopping some one from grabbing it and bringing it back to life?
The car no longer exists. That is the car that was referred to as the 'Duck Pond' (due to the concave boot lid that filled with water) that was crushed after being left in the 'graveyard' it was a non-runner.Do you mean there as we speak? There are two purple racing Speed12s in this pic if I'm not mistaken... one with the roof scoop, one without, and neither current location known.....
As shown above by the pictures posted of the car at Oulton the airscoop isn't particularily significant other than being a time indicator for the picture as it's just a development. Once they discovered the heat from the V12 was frying the drivers and was necessary to stop them being reduced to melted blobs, as the showcar wasn't a runner it didn't need the scoop.

I'm sure the Bluebird team wouldn't mind me showing the pic of the Cerb that was in their workshop. Moved on a long time ago, as referenced in my previous post...
Why was nobody told of this? And where is it now? It cannot be allowed to go to waste, I mean LOOK at it! Imagine that in your rear view mirrors!Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
