Doesn't yours only go abroad for brief holidays?
Depends how you look at it... given I'm in Luxemburg, from my POV, it has been abroad for a VERY long holiday...

I don't think it's going abroad, which is good news. The bad news is I didn't get it. wink
David

Well did you even bid on it?

Have you any idea who purchased it and for how much?

Can someone tell me where the sale of the Speed 12 was advertised?? whoever was selling had a really limted audience! Not saying I could have afforded it but it would have been good to have had a punt

There was a card in the Post Office just 500 yards from TrackvRoad.

The same way all the moulds and jigs were 'put up for sale' and then destroyed on order of the Russian? Word of mouth, and there we go. frown

Ebay private listing... apparently only listed for five days, no overseas bids considered.. just send your bank details once you have been confirmed as the winning bidder!!

I guess you're right, in much the same way TVR was sold - I believe a Russian school boy saw an advert in Bankers weekly comic, sorry magazine, or was that orgasmic living magazine?

Hi

Mr Sheen took a lot for me last Sat but he has been asked not to show them yet, (Not by me) due to a pending article in "Sprint"

I have some others which were taken at the same time which I will sort out soon and post them up!

Wished I knew, somebody knows but they will not say, I think they are worried that a couple of other parties may try and claim it belongs to them!

You wouldn't have bought it unless the seller had proven he legally owned it. That would be too risky.

I see; is that the reason that a King Street post office card was used to advertise the sale? (Coys? No, let's use the post o... )

It's beginning to sound like Steve's 660 SE AC saga.

You would think so, but I was not shown any paper work for the car! It will not have a V5 for a start and the stories which were being told about the Russian trying to get it a few years ago and was told to go forth etc, it make you wonder!
I certainly would not have parted with my money unless I had it in writing if my bid had been excepted!
