Any Tvrs in or around Romsey. If sufficient numbers, maybe arrange a local meet + bring the noise levels up a bit!

We are in Andover so could be up for a meet, although the next few weeks will be difficult with work and other commitments.

Have you thought about hooking up with the Basingstoke 'Pie and Drive' bods as they are a cracking bunch and have a meet the other side of Andover (Vernham Dean) this weekend.

Hi

We live in Romsey but although we wave to anybody in a TVR we only know one guy who attends Hampshire TVRCC and our dentist who has just got his Tuscan back.

Pleased to meet up with anyone in the area and blast up Bell Street.

best regards

Camr through Romsey on the 'scenic' route back from Castle Coombe.
Pretty local - Hayling Island, may be up for a rumble.

Wouldn't mind betting Shnozz would be too after getting his new 'S' then being away for a while!

In the last 12 hrs I've seen 3. Mine, a grey 2.8 S1, Neil who followed me into work in his blue S1 2.9 (both one owner last 11+ years) and a Vixen S1 at the MG meet at the Malthouse last night.
Also "spotted" a red S1 on the by-pass on Monday.
And sometimes the "lost boys" in their brand new Cerbera.

As to meets, the TVRCC Hants, Dorset and W Sussex meets are all in reasonable distance. I think the next is 7th across the New Forest. - I'm going to Shelsey Walsh (VSCC) on the 6th, but may be back down south for Sunday.

So who's is the Yellow Cerbie I see some mornings going eastbound on the A27, usually at Havant around 0815 - 0830?
Someone here?

looks like a few about then. How about a weekday evening meet sometime. Am pretty busy for next couple, but what about week beginning 15th July. Maybe The 3 Tunns, or La Parisienne, or other??

cheers for now.

p.s. Was in Vernon Dean area last weekend. Great Roads around there. Where do the 'pie + drive' guys meet? The George, or The Crown at Upton?!!

Sounds good - we would prefer La Parisienne to the Tuns as the beer is better. Can we avoid the week that Hampshire hold their weekday evening meetings as we are going to try and attend.

Me & Don normally meet at the corner of our road, being neighbours an' all (but that is in Basingstoke -- nowhere near the Crown or the George!)

Any of you guys making the trip on Saturday?

Hi there, one more in for the area, I'm near Chilworth Roundabout with a Chimaera, (I'm a 'late mid life crisis owner so you will have to prepare yourself for a 'vintage member') !!

Well a few of us made it, 5 PH's, a nice S some new thing (RR Cerbera) and a pair of Griffiths. So next time it's either push bikes into town or how about a run to say the Mayfly?

Cheers David

only just come across this thread - shame as Mark was right and I would have brought my baby out for a blast. Maybe next time at the Mayfly, or any pub on the Stockbridge road

I have just seen another 'S' - this time a dark red and looked to be on a 'F' plate - I could not get a better view as I was in the Rover Vitesse and approaching the end of Cupernham Lane to turn right as he was turning left out of Winchester Road into Cupernham Lane. Surely not two in Romsey David? I will grab him if i see him again.
