I think it's late July but I'm not sure, I'm sure it'll be posted up soon ....... If the offer still stands ill swap you a drive in the project for a drive in the Cerb!
I'm sure I'll be getting another one ...... Personally I think the Cerb is the best car TVR made.

That's good news smile had a great time last year...
Yep, can swap over for a privileged spin, my old cerb has never been better these days, it happily trickles along in traffic and I increased the ride height and backed off the rear dampers last weekend.. now it's just planted!

Was it sitting low or have you raised it from standard ride height? I left my ride height height standard but I did back the rears off slightly, I also put Tuscan wheels on the front (et33?) it seemed more direct.
It's interesting to see who does what and how it effects the handling

It was around an inch low at the back. It's pretty standard'ish now. Probably a touch higher if I'm honest but since the relatively small change it seems so much more supple around twisty, bumpy A roads. Great fun!

ETA: I have Joolz spec Protechs with 450F and 400R springs.

So the project progresses, after a month of Str8six magic the car runs under its own steam for the first time in 16 months.
Off to Dave the trimmer tomorrow for him to work his magic ..... Pics to follow

Well the plan was to buy something this year, whether it be a Tuscan to convert or a cerbera to pull apart and rebuild however I've not long had the brilliant news that my wife is expecting our first child in July so a project has been knocked on the head just now.

Since there will be 3 of us now, I expect a cerbera to win the race once I'm allowed to spend some money.

Steve that's great news.
Congratulations to you both, I'm sure your new addition will enjoy his new Cerbera :-)

I think I saw this car today in a trimmers workshop just outside MK.

Looks very nice and I'm sure will be great when trimmed.

Saw this at Dave's Darren, looking great mate, you must be chuffed. Glad I own your previous Cerb!

Question are you leaving the fins on arches open with just vents? Didn't TVR try that originally on the Sag and after testing (mainly by early customers) they made them filled in as the tyres threw up all sorts of grime on the windscreen? So you going for a 4.3?this summer I may go for a 4.3 but not ruling out the 4.5. I don't know why but today I've started researching about the Sp6 5.0 gonna try and run down to Monaco with my dad in both our Cerbs.

Catch up soon mate wink

Thanks Alistair,
I'm really pleased with it, I've got a few more bits to sort and it'll be on the road.
I've spoken to Jason at Str8six and I'll be plunging for the 4.3 during the coming winter.
The vents are double lined, you have the mesh and on the wheel arch there is a secondary layer witch should
Inhibit to much passing through.
My understanding is the vents were left closed mainly due to cost ..... I think Jeremy Clarkson started the rumour
Of broken windscreens.
