something new from mr_quick, his email:

You are the first to see my new product rear upper wishbones in high spec tube as race spec wishbones.
Wishbones are £105 each and are common to all the range no more top wishbone flex or rust trap.

Ah, cheaper then I paid for mine.

Saying that, my fronts are modified with curved rears to facilitate wider wheels without catching.

Good price on the rears though.

Wish I'd known a couple of weeks ago as I polybushed the whole lot and I would have renewed them!

I collected them today from Heath at X-Works , I got the fronts a few months ago ... Christmas present for the Chim. John Quick is Ex-TVR , very experienced , worked on development and race cars fabricating metal work including exhausts, chassis etc.

Out of interest, how much was a full front set?

I honestly can't remember, it was a gentlemans' transaction wink But similiar to the prices above.
I'm fed up with painting rectangular section wishbones every spring.

Vixen ones don't fit certain vixen chassis

I know from experience.

This is not a slight against Mr Quicks considerable skill or experience but the way that the wishbones were made from patterns..

If you are buying vixen wishbones you should buy from the same source as the chassis…if the chassis is a replacement.

They may however fit original 60's chassis

The problem wasn't catastrophic but my advice would be to trial fit everything before finishing since chassis bracket tweaks were required..

Mr quick may not be aware of this because the patterns were sent by an intermediary who had them made for me.
