I am having a problem with hot start and running ect.Many have told me to try and change the temp sender to the ecu.I rang a dealer and explained the situation the dealer said that they had one in stock.Received it this morning and noticed the only make on it was "8TT" THE OLD ONE WAS "3TT"I rang the dealer before fitting and assured me that it would be fine.
Ok went out and fitted it the started up like a bucking bronko and would not restart again battery now flat.
Is this the fault of the sensor ie wrong one or do i have to delve deeper.
But before i fitted it it did start cold but just hot problems.
