Hi all. I've got Cerb that I'd like to get underneath to do a bit of work and give a look over. Does anyone know of any workshops that are willing to rent space and drive on ramps by the hour or even day? I live in Lancashire and would like to stay fairly local. I did here about U repair which is behind the old TVR factory in Blackpool but I can't get through on their number. Does anyone know if they are still in business? Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

http://www.selfservicegarage.co.uk/faq.html This garage is supposed to be in Salford ( nr Manchester) looks too good to be true. I have been thinking of using it myself. Let us know if it turns out OK

Make sure you find out about restrictions on the jobs and tools that you can use, before you start.

I've used Pit Start in Acton previously, and at the time no cutting or drilling was allowed. At the moment their website only says

PitStart said:
What tasks can I not carry out?
You can not carry out any works that relates to fuel tanks or welding or spraying.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to rent 2 hours on the drive on ramps at Wendys Autos in Darwen, Lancs. It was a lot closer to me than any of the Manchester based places. I used my own tools etc and the guys there were great. They didn't mention any restrictions on what could and couldn't be done. It was £15 per hour but there was plenty of space and no hassle.
