I have a 4 post lift that I used to store my Griffith on. A couple of benefits over a 2 post are the car your storing is sat on it’s wheels verses a 2 post where all four wheels are unsupported so suspension at full droop, wouldn’t want to do that for months on end. The second is a four post is stable when just sat on the concrete, it doesn’t need bolting done as the loads are equal. A two post can potentially topple over if the load isn’t balance hence you need to bolt it down to a substantial floor to avoid the possibility of it toppling over with the obvious danger of damage or death!

My Automotec four post lift doesn’t need to be bolted down, comes with detachable wheels so you can move it if you want, will lift 2 tonnes so well over spec for any TVR, and does have mechanical stops but I’ve used it to store an E-type on top and a Griffith below for months on end and it hasn’t drooped at all even without resorting to the mechanical stops
