Steve,

Andy (Sixspeed) has yet to finalise route etcetera, but I suspect that we will meet at the same place we met last time. Which was the Shy Horse pub, a short distance away from Mole Valley TVR...

www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=517165&y=161050&z=3&sv=517500,161500&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

I am sure that Andy will be posting details closer to the date anyway...

Hello matey...
I've got the route...its the "follow the road for 0.8 miles, then left" etc. I'll try to convert it to a map...

Steve (Blake),
Yes, will be doing the VW meet...

Steve (Luca),
The directions you have, are they for the new Surrey Run? Or are we doing the same route as last time?

Hi guys....I have the route as well, which is in the same format as last time. I will be converting it to a hand-held cheat sheet that I can grip to the steering wheel, like in Part 2 of the last run Looked a dog-eared mess at the end, but I was able to follow it, especially after my 'pit-stop'. I will be making copies if anyone is driving solo and wants a mini cheat sheet.

Robkola, I have recruited my friend Clare to navigate (oh no! Lady navigators!) Are you going to bring a friend, too? Navigators double-date !

Is this Surrey Run a bunch of mates going for drive together or is it OK for a TVR newbie to join in? I've been looking for my debut event but all the recent ones, including the Brighton run yesterday, have coincided with business trips or other commitments. I live in Surrey so this one would be on home ground.

Its for anyone who wants to come along...so please join us. Meeting point is the Shy Horse pub, very close to Mole Valley TVR in Chessington. 10.30 meetup approximately...
Its a great laugh, so come along...
Video of the first run can be found at...

First things first - I volunteer to direct TVR owners into the pub car park, hence avoiding the missed turnoffs and subsequent handbrake turns to join the World of Adventures jam!
I will make a sign for it ...

I might bring a girl along, so "No" I won't be bring someone who can navigate . . . (no icon for handbags!)

I've got maps sorted. Full colour, detailed, with complete route descrptions alongside each piece of the map.

Done using autoroute 2001...if anyone wants the autoroute file, get in touch and I'll send it to you...but I'll be bringing LOTS of copies on the day.

Ted,

Can we add this to the calendar so we can start getting an idea of who is going?

It is down for Sunday 6th October.

Luca,

Can you publish via web, or do you think the BIB would stake it out ? I may be able to join for a bit as it looks like my plans for the day may change and it would be fine to join you lot again for a blast. Can you let me have a copy of the route.

I've just watched your video an I noticed you went through Petworth! Did you come off the A3 at Guildford? I take that road nearly every weekend to Chichester! Its a blinding bit of tarmac!

I can't wait to get my Tuscan (Which is STILL at Mole Valley!) I really am not lying about it being mine!

Walkers Pork Pie - Available from every Walkers shop, assuming you are in Leicestershire, or Tesco deli counter if you are in Poole and probably other places. Tesco only stock the 1lb version rather than the Pie On The Beach 6lb behmoth.

You can mail me the .axe file if you wish I thought it may be an idea for others to have a published version even if only to stand by the route and wave

See you soon

Bob
