Gosh... am I alone in assuming the new car was smaller than this?

I'm impressed with the weight control considering those dimensions!
You might be alone, I thought it was Cerbera in size. The Cerb comes in under the new cars weight, probably due to the paper weight AJP8 up front....

It is Cerbera sized. previous gen Griffiths are just very small!

a Cerbera is 4.28 m long. the new Griff I think is 4.3m

From 3'20. Thanks a lot Shmee.
I really feel reassured to see my future car in a different color scheme and wheels. It looks much better.

Who ever done the Wrap? Look just beside each headlight cover, it looks like the wrap has bubbled or has not been applied properly.
If that’s the case, i really cannot believe that they have allowed it to go on show without being addressed.

Actually if you look closely you’ll see that it’s an embossed or templated logo/text by the headlights, presumably the company that did the wrap.

It has not bubbled.. logo of wrap company -joyce design... (they' wouldn't put the logo on your car. it is a show!)

I really want to like this car but I still can’t get over the funny fish face. It’s like it’s got a sad smile and the lights look too small. Whatever it is, it looks odd and makes me feel a bit uneasy.

I almost looks like a completely different car from different angles. Like different people designed the back and the front. The back is all awesome angles and menacing but the front is sort of cartoonlike and a bit gormless.

It reminds me a bit of the tamora, in the sense that the front being beautiful but the back, a bit ugly. This car is the other way around though,

Other TVRs like the Tuscan and old Griffith even the Cerb seemed more joined up.

I don’t really get why they’ve given it that inane baby smile, unless they’ve a sponsorship deal with Disney.

It looks moronic on all cars and it never works unless the target consumer is female.

It also makes a car look cheap.

Unfortunately the front grill of this car makes you want to check it’s carer is near by.

Lord knows why grown up, intelligent men decided to make the front of a great car resemble a gurning simpleton.

Interestingly, I went to the launch of the new Aston Martin Vantage at Grange Welwyn last night and what you've said there is almost exactly the same as how I feel about the new Aston. Odd grill, strange face, small lights, wanted to like it but can't. As an owner of both an Aston and a TVR I am disappointed by both designs.

I quite like the new vantage but I agree, they’ve updated the design language controversially messed with an iconic grille. Perhaps it’s because ford have been trying to hi jack it. Overall though, I think it looks like a complete cohesive design.

To me anyway this new tvr looks a bit disjointed and odd.

Eye of the beholder.. ?

Personally the new car makes the old cars look very old and dated. And I particularly like the front end

I've had this car for nearly 20 years. I intend to keep it, but the new car makes it look like a 'classic' - (styling and engineering) and not all in a positive way.

of course, just my opinion.

It certainly looks very different from those beautiful older TVRs . (Even the cerebra)

Looking at it is like when the sound is out of sync on your tv, or when you’re talking to someone that is really cross eyed, all the bits are there, but you instinctively feel something is amiss and it might make you feel uncomfortable.

Does everyone walk around seeing faces on cars? I'm fairly sure I gave up by the time I was 7.
