It certainly is getting exciting! I'm in no position to afford the new car, but I hope to be going to Goodwood specifically to see the unveiling.
Kids even now still shout "That's a TVR!" when I drive past, the brand lives on, the future is there for the taking!
I have an 11 year old grandson who thinks I'm someone, it's not me it's the car. Kids even now still shout "That's a TVR!" when I drive past, the brand lives on, the future is there for the taking!
If kids of that age are still aware and it's more his friends that have raved over it and he's come to love my car cos his mates think it's cool.
All these years after it was created and it still has that appeal for youngsters, they know stats these kids and know full well how fast it is. Amazing really.
So the new one for a new generation to dream of and place a picture on the wall.
Magic.
It could be that the new Tvr is the start of a new dawn
One which becomes known as reliable and fast and sexy looking
As younger people start looking for Tvr cars and discover ours they won't be tarnished with the same thoughts of unreliable as they frankly know nothing of a few filthy sheds in Blackpool and the plagued history a quarter of a century ago.
Most cars now if running are because they have had years of care so it's time and if Tvr can produce a car the new generation adore we all look to have a great future.
If it's a world wide success do you think we can get Tvr to call back our cars and change the immobiliser so most cars can carry on a happy life. That and remove CUX on Griffs and Chims and Wedges why don't we. Job done

Also LE quoted figures of wanting the car to make 400bhp per tonne do we know if he has specified if that is to be at the rear wheels or at the crank?
"bhp" is "brake horse power", isn't that always at the crank ? Edit:

Highly unlikely to be at the rear wheels......
Or it might be! I see the new teaser from TVR is causing a stir with the punters they sure know how to keep us guessing they say 480 BHP at 1200 KG then I hear more like 600 BHP plus that's more like it .
It's about time we have a new super car
Our European friends have had their way far to long , Some real competition at last .
