The dark colours hide the contoversial front end well. The dark " bullit " green is particularly nice

Have you added some lighting in the front brake air duct opening?

I think it would look really good in pearl white, and to keep all those bits of black plastic trim and black wheels. I know a fair few on here aren't into that sort of thing but it must look half decent otherwise every new merc wouldn't be that way.

I think every new Mercedes is that way because of a lack of class and taste. If you look at the more civilised and educated end of Mercedes ownership, such as minicab drivers, they don't opt for that sort of thing. wink

No, i have not added any lighting or messed with the photos other than modifying color-channels. But messing around with the colors may make it look as if.

How easy it is to alter and how it looks depends mainly on the quality and color-composition of the original pic. In this case the white background helps a lot as changes in the color-channels are mostly limited to the car itself and not the background. To me it looks as if the car was photographed somewhere else and then placed against the white background, you can see it in the reflections.

Altering it too much leads to artificial contrasts, artifacts and blockiness. I'm sure someone more educated and knowledgeable could work wonders.

Yes, darker colors hide the "mouth", but i've come to the conclusion that i like it. The volcano-orange that was mentioned and the AMG SLS Green Hell Green are my current favorites. But clearly, we need colors provided by TVR as special effects paints cannot be manipulated into the pics on this level anymore.

Alright, i promised not to, but it's a Friday night, everyone in bed, second beer and Bob Seger is singing Fire Lake. What better time to brush up my photo-editing skills ?
(seriously, if this is getting on anyone's nerves, just tell)

Are you able to make the vents under the headlights body colour? Get rid of that run mascara look....

In some ways I hope it’s all AF spanner stuff. There’s something about it - non conformity with the production line Porsches, a salute to Brexit, a recognition of great British design and the DNA that keeps being mentioned..... call it what you will, but it would be good.

I guess there is an argument as the basic chassis design is just wattle and daub really? wink

That looks like the vents have been deleted, not coloured.

Yes, that's much better. I do wonder whether the horizontal slats in the vent would be visible from that angle. If you painted the slats how would that look?

Have they decided where it’s going to be built yet? Is it definitely going ahead regardless of interest or is it dependant on orders?
