One would think this far into the process they would have a few more cars in existence rather than just wrapping the old one in a dated colour from cars 10 years hence!! The longer this sort of stuff goes on the less credible its all going to start to look??

Personally I am getting a bit tired of it all now.

...they’ve a factory to kit out yet..and then recruit / train all their staff...and then start manufacturing. The deal has only just been done with the Welsh (and possibly / probably ran over time due to the debacle of the proposed ‘Circuit’..).

I don’t understand why they need more than one prototype as yet.

Crash~testing is noted as one of their next phases...thus we’ll see more at that juncture...plus any revisions that are then dictated. Makes no sense to build more than one vehicle. It would be a waste of their and their investors cash.

I don’t expect mine before 2020 and more than happy with that.

It's been great to see the car in another look, and talking to Les it sounded like an interesting proposition to focus a lot more on the ability to vinyl wrap a car in colour schemes such as this without going down the gruelling and expensive process of such paintjobs - allowing the ability to be braver with initial choices as well as then having the option to change it down the line.

Thats really does look so much better. Which surprises me as red is one of my most favouritist colours.

indeed, this sort purple colour does the car justice, perhaps that crazy green-ish from some Tuscan could be fine as well.

Seeing this angle and flip, I think Rolex blue will be another corker...

Is that door closed or on the latch? What does the button behind where the number plate would be do and how do you access it with the plate in position?

I'm guessing the button behind the number plate isn't something that's intended to be usually regularly and a concequence of the missing locks and door handfles.

At least the thread title makes sense again. Wrap, and all that.

Or is it a reversing camera?

Isn't it where the rear number plate was when originally shown last September?

More likely to be an auxiliary boot release if the remote fails?

Agreed. It's just a key lock for emergency access to the battery, which is in the boot. It will be hidden by the numberplate. At least, that's what I understood it to be.

After speaking with Les and Gordon they said it was in case you have a chuffin Audi driver right up your chuffer.thumbup

I know this is a wrap but it looks very much like the reflex purple Peter Wheeler painted his racing Tuscan.

Gosh... am I alone in assuming the new car was smaller than this?

I'm impressed with the weight control considering those dimensions!
