New TVR still under wraps!

Is this an admission that the front is wrong or is GM just playing with some pictures and posting them on Instagram?
Presumably at this stage, quite a lot could still be changed?
It's more likely to be the private showcase for David Seesing. Google for instagram david seesing and you'll get to his page. Presumably at this stage, quite a lot could still be changed?
I guess these are sketches that were created at various stages during design-process and he is now allowed to publish them as part of his "cv". There are probably hundreds of variations and this is most certainly not recent stuff.
Also, don't forget that regulations and engineers have their say as well. Look what the engineers made of the diffusor.
I wouldn't bet on more than details changing.

Good to see the Mk1 Tuscan grille is possibly back in the game.
Can it hang on this time.
The change of lights really removes the funny-face issue some were complaining of imho.
There seems to be nothing wrong with the shape of the intake without the ‘eyes’.
But you didn’t think it looked like a funny face before, how can you say the issue has been removed. Can it hang on this time.

But again, i firmly believe that these sketches are from a time at which it was getting pretty refined but was still "all visual" without limitations from engineering or regulation. The diffusor in these shots is very similar to what was shown in very early sketches.

But by changing the lights, even my 5 year old self would have trouble seeing a face now. And he was good at it.
Lights look better in that sketch, although they’re from fantasy land so are largely irrelevant. The smiley Lightening McQueen grille aperture is still there though, and that’s the main issue as far as all the feedback is concerned.
Also it seems the grill on the prototype is much bigger than it appears to be in any of the development sketches, which only adds to the silly face. I’m guessing the engineers wanted a bigger opening for cooling, but the impact on the looks wasn’t fully considered.

The two pics in comparison would make a great addition to this page:

Just to close the door on that debate, the production version of that car (images just released) looks cr@p in comparrison to the concept shown above.
The new Griffith looks really impressive in comparrison! Keep up the good work TVR!!!
If you read closely I didn’t even say what it was... I said this is what the TVR should look more like, be it concept or not.The new Griffith looks really impressive in comparrison! Keep up the good work TVR!!!
Which pictures are you talking about anyway.. it debuts at Geneva... not seen any real un disguised pics yet.

.. though on closer inspection I see its just another rendering (it still looks boring though)!

Fair enough, I was referring to the autocar article:

Except even the boring rendering still looks more purposeful than the “billy the fish” TVR ...http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/toyota/88119/new-toyo...

I’m guessing the supra will be somewhere between the two images posted
