New TVR still under wraps!
Discussion
Little to no news, not lack of enthusiasm !
But will be out for a while for holidays. Will be my first time with family in England. Guess it's safe, now that Germany is out of the Worldcup and England still in (well, let's see how far that one goes, maybe you even score a goal in penalty-shootouts I hear Lineker is revising his quotes already )
@spag: just for info, did you receive my reply or did it go to the junk-folder ?

Extrapolating from the time it takes to calibrate airbag and ABS, as stated by Les, this will be a lot more complex and expensive and simply not feasible for small numbers.
Just saw this video https://youtu.be/7u6nHM3sa8k around 1'35 it's quite funny (ok the guy who drives on a track with only one hand it's already funny).Apparently GM have some difficulties to calibrate airbags. There is also a video where they deploy in a straight line just because the guy has put a very loud exhaust!
It's a proof that this job it's not so easy specially on a car which can be driven hard on tracks.

Guys right arm is paralyzed, that's why he's going one-armed. Does he hit the grass ? Should not go off, but front-airbags would have been way worse.

Your link is not working, you need a space between the 'k' and before the comma.

Thanks, I have edited the link. You're right for the paralyzed arm, I have not watch entirely the video, my bad.Guys right arm is paralyzed, that's why he's going one-armed. Does he hit the grass ? Should not go off, but front-airbags would have been way worse.
For sure, front airbags would have been way worse, this is also the case for the guy with the loud exhaust, he is on an open road when the side bags are exploding.

I am still hard at work trying to fit 700 kg into each boot to make our TVRs faster.

pretty serious involvement. Top Gear mag, has an interview with Murray, where he says they are also designing the factory assembly processes.
