Absolutely. The way those arches, front and rear, sort of concave in on the edges, just dosen’t look right

Just looks like its waiting for the plastic trim to be clipped onto it, like you would get on a Corsa!
Flair them out a little, and would give a whole new look to the car, and give it a more of a Stance.

Flattened wheel arch flares are an aero thing, which is why virtually every car has that design feature these days. Traditionally flared arches create a lot of extra turbulence, and with that drag.

I would love to known the drag difference between these and some decent looking arches and the effect on the performance.

Sometimes looking better is worth a (probably) unnoticeable difference

On a road car I’d totally agree, makes no real difference I’d suspect, but on a race car doing 200mph probably worth a 10th or two per lap or more the point you stay on the black stuff. Years ago as a lad I used to help a guy flare arches on Mk1 Capri’s by unfolding the lip and using metal stretching hammers to err stretch the steel, used to look the biz.
I’ll set up a company offering asthetic arch modification when Lez gets the darn thing road legal hehe

Just about every car I looked at today had the same effect. From bog standard Micra’s to upscale SUV boxes. All of ‘em..!

I’d never really noticed before.

Griff still looks miles better to me.. with coke~bottle effect wider arches. Much sexier.

D~-Q due some point next week..so I expect the new renders to be posted on the homepage then too...

C’mon Les... give us a Death~Star version to annihilate M4tti’s yawnsprungduhhhtechnicallyabeetle into oblivion please smashsmashsmash

I don’t know the specifics, but given every road car nowadays has the feature, the efficiency gains are obviously worth it. Like flush windows. A small change with a surprisingly significant effect.

Don´t worry.
In old TVR tradition will disadvantages of the car easily be replaced by the pure madness of the driver.
