Never mind the PESTEL factors, the biggest issue is the lack of vehicle.
Shouldn't that be PESTLE ?Anyhoo, not kept up with the latest but have to say i'm a bit disappointed with no decent clues from the team as to what it's going to look like.... maybe they don't know themselves yet... I do think though that it'll have to be very very special on a number of levels to offer a good alternative to (for example) the F type
I'm kinda thinking it should be a given that it'll look stunning in a way that only a TVR can, and that it'll be mentally quick... but to be a world class motor, the build quality and reliability has to be right up there too....
Jus sayin......

Which - if you'd believe what's coming through the grapevine - might be sort of correct. While the structural and mechanical package seems to be largely in place, it sounds like they're still not satisfied with the way it looks and are frittering away at it. Which is sort of how old TVR worked, only they'd take it to motorshows anyway, take comments on board (or not) and sometimes delivered something rather different to the first batch of customers that what they'd signed up for. When I was a kid I thought cars came about by producing a picture of the new shape/spec, a drawing.
Then go from there.
Doesn't the shape dictate so much, hard/soft top aggressive looks or more feminine or whatever, sets the scene.
Even if some of the shapes they might have come up Don't make it to the final car wouldn't it be good publicity to be temping the public and creating talk.
Maybe the team are well aware of the real time scale involved in making this car so even though we might get a car come January Will it run or actually be complete.
It doesn't matter as long as they are on track and know what there doing.
Everyone who buys parts from Tvr are helping to fund something, we'd all like to know what it is and what it's going to look like.
Then go from there.

That was generally true for sports cars in ye olden days. Design for style and speed, the driver can contort himself to suit the interior and don't worry about crash protection. Then go from there.

New TVR has a rival for seriously purposeful looks:
Per Autocar the "Rezvani Beast Alpha revealed as 500bhp two-seater... the car weighs 884kg, helping it to accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.2sec. No top speed has been confirmed yet. A 300bhp model is also planned. The standard Beast costs from $165,000 (£132,500), with options that include adjustable suspension, carbonfibre seats and steering wheel, and a Sadev sequential manual gearbox."
Of course with a 500bhp 2.4-litre supercharged Honda engine, it won't have that wonderful V8 sound...
Oh, and there's also proposed to be a 700bhp upgrade - it just gets better and better/not depending upon one's viewpoint.
