You're a native speaker, aren't you ? Was the 225 the price for the Griff or the ballpark for the competition ? (I'm German, but i had a hard time understanding the guy). Thx.
Edit: the boot looks BIG ( starts at 3:15 )

It’s the styling that’s outdated not the engine or transmission or connectivity etc.
It doesn’t look modern or like a classic it just looks a bit disjointed and last year.
Precisely. It's old fashioned like a 1990's Scion and that's never a good thing. It doesn’t look modern or like a classic it just looks a bit disjointed and last year.
Anyway, it's all moot because it won't happen but it's kept a discussion going on here for 3 years.
Again I think you’ve missed the point. It’s not supposed to look ultra modern and bang on trend or like some classic pastiche. It’s supposed be it’s own thing as there’s nothing else on the market like it. It could still look better, I agree. But if you want ultra modern on trend there’s plenty of options already out there which would be madness to try and compete with.
If it were supposed to be on trend then it would be looking like one of the hyper aggressive angular monstrosities that the Jap brands (Toyota and Honda in particular) are pumping out right now. Have you seen the new Camry and Rav 4??? They’re utterly ridiculous looking things for that segment.

I wonder how the rear spoiler works. The bootlid looks very flat. No room for Hydraulics or a electric Motor
Yeah, was/am wondering, too. Take a look in the video at 3:16, where you can take a good look at the lid. It's quite thick, guess the mechanism is hiding somewhere there.dvs_dave said:

It looks old fashioned (and ugly IMO but that's subjective) in a bad way. To me it looks like it was designed by a late 20th Century Japanese committee.I also disagree with what you're suggesting. The Wheeler TVR's from Griff onwards were very much of their time. Nobody looked at a Cerbera or a Tuscan or a Sag and said they looked old fashioned.
To me this thing doesn't look modern or classic. It just looks wrong.

High Targetprice (225 till 230 000) has to do with the locale Dutch taxes.
Same price as Aston Vantage and Mc Laren wow!

Anyone know why it has not been road registered yet? I assume an IVA test is all that is needed, and it seems to have been built to production standards, so should be able to pass this. Testing could at least then be carried out in "real world" conditions instead of just on a track
It would be Q1 TVR if it was on the road, same as any other kit car?Monkeylegend said:

Built from all new parts? I think a normal number would be allocated to it
Well at the moment 25% of the parts are missing.https://www.ukpoc.co.uk/
