Maybe the 'exciting big news' promised was that Mr Ashley was investing in the new company. Probably got delayed after buying House of Fraser and bidding for Valerie Patisserie. Just sayin' ......
Unlikely. I spent fifteen years doing business with Mike and while he likes a gamble he also likes to see some kind of an end result.

Looks like it made its way into the public release of Forza Horizon. Doesn't seem that much to go on with modding as far as i can see. Flip-color looks nice though:

Wanted to buy this game but already got bored after watching the videos for 5 minutes. Not as bland as the Crew 2, but still. Hopefully it will show up in Assetto Corsa.

Anyway, just google for TVR Griffith Forza Horizon and you'll get the vids. Just don't expect too much.

Looks nice but my mind has been made up now. I'm just waiting for the next website update and promised renders then I'm cancelling so if anybody would like my place in the queue, just let me know, first come first served, I'm 350ish in line. IF the car has undergone a dramatic change then obviously I'll be keeping it, but I can't see it.

I'm not going to rush into buying a car and I may miss the Brexit value collapse but this time next year I will either be still waiting for the new look griffith or driving a Maccy D! 720s' are in freefall, I reckon 150 will get me a nice one in a year, my real world dream car is the Aventador S but cannot justify it unless values start collapsing.

I'm genuinely gutted this means I will NEVER get the chance to own a TVR now. What a wasted opportunity. I hope I am wrong though for all of you that are keeping the faith.

Gordon Murray, I blame you. You crushed my dream of having a sexy old skool motor - I will never forgive you for as long as I live. You selfish, smug bd.

Hear ya, but remember: free options must be kept until they are either no longer free or no longer options.

Has it actually been communicated to deposit holders that the car has been delayed? or is it just on the comments that were made at the recent Dutch reveal. Has anyone been near the factory to see if there is any activity?. As we approach March with no factory, assembly staff and components still being sourced I would be very very surprised to see any cars delivered this year or even 12 months from now considering how long it has taken to just get to this point which is not that much further on since the reveal in 2016. I posted months ago that the big news may well be that the car will not make it to market and i have to say that this is looking more and more likely

We shall drink a toast together with all that hold firm

Themselves to distraction in

I see a new series of Top Gear is back on this Sunday. TVR should give the Griffith to them to have a play with.

Why would you want to kill the project so soon..

They should be they dont have any running, non-prototype cars. So they defo dont want to be giving it to media outlets to drive!

You saw how they treated the Panda and the Ignis! There would only be a carrier bag of tiv parts left if they got their hands on it.......

True, but in the interest of science, I'm sure that any review of a brand new car would involve a serious thrashing, I would.
