There will, be a nice car production factory in Swindon coming available in a couple of years if someone can let Les know....
LOL! Ramp up production to 160k units a year. Might hit residuals a bit though

I see a new series of Top Gear is back on this Sunday. TVR should give the Griffith to them to have a play with.
Why would you want to kill the project so soon..
You saw how they treated the Panda and the Ignis! There would only be a carrier bag of tiv parts left if they got their hands on it.......
I never forgave them for trashing the diff on that DBR1... rolleyes

The guy in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FY-28sKUkVE

is going through various customizations in Forza 4. Starting at about 5:00 (but whole video is about the Griff) he's running though a myriad of wheels, colors and other stuff. Looks like the mods in Forza are far fewer and not as outrageous as in The Crew 2.

ps.: love the light silver and the shiny purple-orange flip

You could probably get Ineos, TVR and all their suppliers into the mothballed half of the factory they could probably get it in 2 months off Honda - or I am ashamed to predict that you could wait a few months and you could probably get something in the Birmingham area or Sunderland.

Speaks volumes though when the only way to see and enjoy the Griffith and play around with modifications is on a computer video game.

Other than that the radio silence is getting even more deafening.

Just a teeny weeny little bit of communication from TVR at this point would suffice, good or bad, preferably good.

You must have done something in the last 2 months since the last update, things must have moved on just a little bit surely.

Is anybody still there shout

If they offer this as part of the LE palette option, I will be delighted!

That’s pretty much Spectraflair Silver, which was previously available. I’d say it’s a safe bet to assume it’ll be be available on the new car.

All joking aside, Honda have announced closure for 2022 I believe, so not immediately available...

It does make you wonder what's going on. You would have thought there is some update worth sharing. It is very poor PR. I hope the post delivery customer service is better.

Yes, and all joking aside, the reason Honda is closing is their change to hybrids and all electric cars. At this rate, TVR might as well just get on with making one. The times they are a changing. frown

Joking to one side - I am really worried for the new Tvr. Maybe the lightweight Griffith is a perfect platform for an electric sports car. Maybe a petrol v8 is going to be hard to shift and particularly hard in 2 years time.

Don’t you think someone who is looking for a sportscar still wants a roaring monster petrol engine, I know I do.
I get the use of electric motors in your typical eurobox but not so much with a sportscar

Putting those two cars right next to each other really brings it home to me. One is starting to look like a dated Toyota with a weird front end and the other one is a bit of a head turner because its an unusual shape in todays bland world, and quite pretty.

Datsun 240Z springs to mind.

At least we’ve moved back to the front end. Distracts from January’s update whistle
