New TVR still under wraps!
Discussion
I thought the plan was to tie them in with an established manufacturer somehow?
The old TVR service centres are no way good enough for a new car. It was part of the reason they went bust. Shoddy service, “they do that” attitude, amateurish and unprofessional.
I remember going in to my local TVR place in 99 and being shocked how poor it was compared to the Porsche place down the road and Porsche have moved on light years since then. As an owner I simply became used to how rubbish it was. No way I’d put up with it again.
TVR need to seriously up their game if they plan to use the old dealerships and service centres and attract new customers. People expect WAY more than that these days.

… they may expect more.. but they pay through the nose for it... nice shiny buildings, etc, etc cost.. and doesn't necessarily give you great service (ie Mercedes, I'm looking at you)The old TVR service centres are no way good enough for a new car. Don't want to bore anyone, but this is a good wrap up from Forza during the first five minutes with slow moves, nice background and cool angles.

I work in the computer industry (not graphics though, but i'm an avid gamer and interested). a few years ago stuff like this was simply not possible and these guys are now doing it in 80 frames a second as if it was nothing on commodity hardware. Also looking at it, any homegrown configurator is bound to gravely disappoint. Basically they should give out X-Boxes with a stripped down game. Maybe configuring it with a X-Box controller even leads to higher addon-sales
Look at the dynamic flip-color sampels starting at around 3:25, pretty cool

Buyers of the new TVR will not be random BMW or Audi browsers.
They will be reasonably informed enthusiasts who can see past a few halogens and a shiny suit.
Going forward, of course TVR will have to up their game but a big expediture on fancy premises does not sound sensible.

The glass & chrome buildings with chaps in suits and pretty girls milling about comes at a cost.
That's why my mate was charged £270+ by the local Audi dealership for changing a £42 head light lamp (available via Amazon for ~£8).
...And, I always get offered a brew by Chas or Jason at Str8Six!!

I was thinking the same about the top Blue one! LOVELY!Happened with the previous TVRs. You often have to see and hear them to really get the point.
I didn’t really like the Chimaera and Tuscan from initial pictures. Then I saw (and heard) them around and realised my mistake.
Have had a pair of them for years now.
