edit: The post in the other group suggests work is progressing on the documentary. Don't want to post that content here, but found this when looking at their facebook page.

I mean a leader in the tech savvy world. Someone who can launch a new product and use social media etc and market their product and talk to their customer base. They are fortunate that the communication platforms are there, that they have a huge number of people hungry to listen etc. But they don’t bother.
I think the point here is that pushing promotion of the car (as much as we all want it) isn't their top priority , and rightly so! They told us there have been delays with the factory, which is I'd say is a major factor in starting production! Personally I think it is absolutely right to hold back on the PR machine until the production line is ready to roll rather than 'here's the car world... ohh but its not available yet and we are having inevitable issues getting a new business venture off the ground'. Im sure Les (who according to some doesn't have much control....lol), as a successful business man is bang on it!

Not when you start taking peoples money as deposits as TVR have been going for the last 3 years or so. At that stage all these current issues should have been sorted.Depositors have paid for a car to be built and delivered, the deposit should be saying the car has been developed and tested, here is our new factory, everything is now in place, your car will be delivered in X months.
To be sitting here nearly 4 years later with no car. no factory, no staff to build them, not enough parts, no testing and development mules, doesn't indicate to me a business man who is bang on it.
Who is actually going to be doing the testing and development of this car even if it does surface in the next 12 months or so?
And what has happened to Spag, he is now as conspicuous in his absence as the Griffith. Too many naughty biscuits on a Saturday night, sitting on the naughty step, banned from this thread, banned for life? Who knows

Talking of strategy there must have been a plan of how to bring the car to the public in reasonable time frames all along surely?
Which include things like the building, parts supply etc etc.
Is it simply a case of investment being the issue until Brexit is decided, I certainly hope so as it seems like it’s effecting more than just TVR’s hopes and aspirations,,, depending on what side your on!
Basically if we are to believe TVR the factory should be on its way this year which would be pretty pointless if they didn’t build cars there so surely on that side of things they have plans and are ready to go. A small team can build a car if they have parts lying around!
Why would you have a factory of this size without testing plans and people lined up to do it. Surely as soon as production commemces you will hsve some test mules within days or weeks, surely the car has to be made road legal ASAP?
I just put blind faith in the hope details like this are well in place and they have plans to do all this quick sharpe once some money flows.
It’s been so long I’m not even sure why it’s all been delayed?
And yellow cards are one thing, bans another
It was the 6 nations weekend and Wales are ruining the party big time
Give him a break

Banned looks like. He’s revived this old griff thread (after it was dead for a year) instead.

What’s notable is the complete lack of progress over the last year (at least)
In my mind, the factory delays / Welsh Government / EU tendering etc. are not the issue, and strike me as smokescreen.
The thing that concerns me is that they dont seem to have a finished, developed, tested product ready to make.
If there were half a dozen prototypes rumbling around Milbrook, MIRA and on the roads I'd still be in.

You mean that the new team has over estimated is ability to conduct this project?
When we have a look to Les wiki page this part is quite funny:
"The pair called their future as software developers into question when they spent their money fixing bugs and updating the manual, but Edgar then had the idea of writing games.[2] A friend of Molyneux's asked him to convert Druid II: Enlightenment to the Amiga, and he and Edgar exaggerated their abilities.[2][3] According to Edgar, it was during the conversion that they learnt to move sprites, and developed a routine for animation."
<mode sarcastic off>
Seriously, I'm really wishing the best to this project. Even if Les has exaggerated his skills, he has done Populous then, which was a great product.
