(Yes, and I have indeed no idea how to upload a picture)
smile if you get a link from the web, you just type this and ready, you can check or test it when you press on preview before you post, or you just want to try things.

Looks very nice. bow

Thank god there are still some proper designers out there knowing there stuff
or at least where to steal it biggrin
But car seems to be very tiny.

Shows even more what a mess the Griff design is.
A little gem of a thing but a lot of people would need one seat for each buttock.

This was posted on the Club site 27 October 2018.

"Additionally, the works to complete the smaller training, test and prototype build facility are well under way, and Blaenau Gwent local council have now given us a completion / handover date for this facility of March 2019. It remains an option to complete customer builds in this facility should there be any delays to the main factory programme, although we have no reason to believe that that should prove to be the case."

It seems certain the big factory is not going to be ready any time soon. So this is a way to start production for the next 6-12 months, I'd have thought? Come on TVR, get your finger out. Forget the factory for 6 months and start to keep your loyal (and dwindling) fan base happy.
There. That wasn't so hard, was it?

P.S. Forget the biscuits, there's a nutter out there.....

And they haven’t got a finished tested product to build!

Being fair, they said the smaller facility shell would be handed over in March 2019.

If that happens, lets see the facility with a TVR sign over the door and the Griffith parked outside, it's nearly the end of March!

Another 6 month to procure all the equipment and fit-out the facility, and this should be ready for initial training and prototype build in say August, and even then nothing will come out of it before this time next year..... If it happens.

They have made an announcement on Twitter. Richard Smith has arrived and he sorts factories as well as driving a Ferrari, flying helicopters and being relatively amusing.

I'm a former TVR owner and I have to say I'm astounded by the patience being shown.

All good things come to those who wait.
I just hope I will still be able to drive a manual when it eventually starts rolling off the production line. Age and all that!

On the official TVR Twitter. The last post I see is last October.

Posted this 'big' news up on 12th March after seeing the change at Companies House. He was appointed on the 7th March. Everything is in slo-mo, not what you'd expect from a TVR.

He seems to be engaging in real time with posters on FB, so some hope perhaps?

Hopefully he isn't immediately pissed off with the comments there, getting a good bit of flak already. But there seems to be something happening ! Update due end of month, hopefully:

... that an announcement will be forth coming- end of the month we hope ...

... The wait is nearly over - keep an eye on the social media ...

... that being said I think it’s time to get things moving ...

... so when I say a statement I keep to it. ...

... three words.....Watch This Space. ...

... the team at TVR have come so far in a relatively short period. There’s always haters out there and people that think they can do better. The team have overcome so many obstacles. We hope to show you progress in the production side very shortly ...

Didn't look much like flak to me, just fair comment.

Flak was maybe a harsh word, but he's now surely aware that the community has taken notice of the delays wink On the other hand, i take this as a sign that things are indeed progressing and that is highly welcome.

edit:

Where's Spag btw ? Did he really get banned ?

rofl

Horse manure!

They've done nothing but arguably conned a lot of people out of money, put some vinyl on a LMP1 team and promised the earth and delivered FA.

I could have done what they have done.
