Out of interest, excuse the pun, when they repay the deposits is it with interest or just the £2.5k / £5k paid back.

I wonder how much they have made on the £2m or so they have sat on for the last 3 years, assuming they are attracting interest on it smile

Why were TVR not at Burghley House, the biggest TVRCC event of the year these days?

Because they are hiding from annoyed deposit holders/physically nothing has changed since the Griffith went last year smile

I think its just a simple "Nothing to see here" situation.

No interest [re]paid, just the original deposit. I wasn’t sure if I was doing the right thing when I asked for mine back in December, but had I not i’d have chewed my fingernails down past the quick by now.

Wow, that is bad. All the directors should have been there to speak to deposit holders at the very least seeing as they have their cash. frown

Yes but they’re selling a new TVR it’s a ‘watch this space’ situation, they should be there creating interest and sales and advertising the new car and explaining the delays and what they’re doing about it.

Watching a space is a bit like watching paint dry.

I agree it is another missed opportunity if they don't turn up to claw back a smidgen of goodwill from the deposit holders and give some long awaited feedback.

I think in the current situation with no new updates since last December you have done the right thing.

There was an update at the beginning of March It showed artists impressions of the factory and they suggested a photo shoot at the factory with the Welsh government and wanted TVRs to come and join them. I think that was due at the end of March.

TBH I have stopped caring now. I didn’t place a deposit on the new car I almost did but thought I would wait and see and watch out for reviews as it would be a big purchase for me. I have invested in my Cerbera 4.5 instead now and I just can’t see how the new Griffith is going to get built. Meanwhile my Cerbera is FANTASTIC?

Interest back on deposits and have 500 people arguing they’re due £67.27 not £53.62 ?

Surprised they haven’t done some form of hospitality event, like taking deposit holders to last weeks Members Meeting, or the Festival of Speed with an enclosure and a few drinks.

Probably not Gary; I personally would not be interested in the car’s presence regardless but thought they might turn out for the people who have paid their hard earned!

Wouldn't they just get accused of spending depositors' money if they did?

I'm a previous TVR owner and have a soft spot for the brand but I'm amazed people are still accepting being strung along by them now.

I can only assume they are being clouded by their loyalty to the Wheeler era and it's cars.

The new car isn't even attractive. It's not a patch on the previous cars.

I can't imagine there wasn't a single TVR owner who wasn't (even slightly) disappointed on their first view of the new car.

Since the reveal, their PR is a joke. The customer service is a joke. The failed deadlines are a joke. The silence is a joke. The excuses are a joke.

It's a shame but I can't see this ending well.

Good luck to those who've kept their deposits in... I think you'll need it.

That’s ridiculous.

They spent that a long time ago.
