The hot day should hopefully allow you TVR chaps to really put all your horses down.
My horses are feeling the heat, but I wasn't planning on having them put down yikes

Fantastic day! Some great cars but not too busy. Glad I went for the day and not the evening session, looks like the evening was going to be quite hectic with the amount of cars turning up.

Gutted I was not able to book up to drive but I had a fantastic day thanks to all your generosity in giving out passenger rides, I think I had more time on track as a passenger than I do as a driver normally.

Great to catch up with everyone, good crac as always.

Peter best of luck with your engine and hope to see you out on track soon. Nick, thanks for the ride in the Cayman R, quite refreshing being in a car that actually handles. Gruffalo - That cerb is just insane! That AJP 4.7 is brutal! Good to meet the guys with the Swordfish Tuscan, really nice car that. Chris, good to see you my friend and thanks for the ride, take care and I will see you soon buddy. Good to meet the other Clio boys. Anthony, I did not see you before I left, good to see you sir and have fun on the evening session.

Looking forward to the next one.

Was an awesome day.

I think Chris and I were pretty evenly balanced with that nippy little Clio just edging it by a second if that a lap. Hard work but great fun.

Hung around and supported Anthony (precat) and Chris in the evening session. Was a lot busier and some really fast little hatches being thrown around.

August is looking like a no no for a track day but September at Hethel is a goer.

Colin, you are still ranting!

I arrived at lunchtime without my car as of course as it is dead!

Trev and Colin kindly offered drives in their cars which of course I took up, thanks guys. Didn't even break them wink

Your cars performed faultlessly, stuck to the road with their Triple 8s and were great fun to drive. That has given me a little boost to pull my finger out and get mine back on the road.

Just got in……

Super day, loved it so much that I booked on the evening session too.

184 miles today on track, not bad for the little Clio. Great to see all the Tiv boys again. Had good fun hunting down Stuart in the Tam. Tam was very quick today fella.
Super to see you all.

Until the next time. I think I may add a few more little mods...

Just thought I would update the thread, my starter woes all heat related.

Started fine after being driven home. I nearly packed a fan in the boot so we could blow cold air over the cars when we came off track I wish I had now.

The heat was the one reason I wasn't too upset to be stuck in an office all day yesterday......at full track chat on a hot day my oil pressure gauge turns into a teenager and can't be arsed to get out of bed...

What a fantastic day! I loved every minute of it, great to catchup with the TVR crew and also meet need new people, always so friendly. (other than the guy in the Purple Tuscan who was a nob on the track)

I haven't had a chance to edit all the footage but I did have a few clear laps with Matthew.
