I know what you mean. The DVLA website says the Taimar I bought in 1980 (ULM 720R - still remember the reg too!) exists, but hasn't been MOT'd since 2007.

...I feel cheated..! I've only had 3 in 12 years; '90 S2, '88 390SE, and now the '92 400 Griff - my favourite, so far...

You feel cheated?

I'm 56 and have never owned a TVR!

Hi Wyn. Like yourself I started with a 350i bought from Harrogate Horseless carriages in 1986 it was a red one the reg no was C314 YYG, I then got a 400se just like you I then jumped ship and bought a Porsche 911 which was ok but it wasn't a TVR so I went back to TVR with a Chimaera 400 I then bought a Chimaera 450 I loved them that much I had another 13 chims I then jumped ship again and got a Subaru Impreza STI with 300 horses but that turned out to be very Boring, So I went back to TVR and this time I tried the Speed Six cars starting with a Tuscan 3.6 which was very good I then moved onto a T350c which I found a bit closterfobic I then got a T350t hoping it was better but the roof system was a pain to get right so I got rid and then went back to the Tuscans having had another 3, My current car is a Tuscan , I'm now aged 70 and when it comes to TVR's I feel half my age however the body tells me otherwise I just hope I can keep going until the Grim Reaper calls I'm sure you can understand that,So iv'e had a total of 23 cars in 30 years which I have totally enjoyed every minute of the fun you have with them, Regards, Allan.
Allan,

Dont forget to how important you are showing us all you can own/have/drive a Tvr for as long as you want to, you dont have to say 'from now on I'll only be able to drive a 1Ltr shopping trolley' etc, my fun days are over! May you have many, many more years of fun in Tvrs. We salute you!

They are certainly addictive I must admit.

Since 1993 , we have had a 350i with a carburettor 3.9 block, S2, 400 Chimeara, 400 Griffith, 4.2 Cerbera, 400SE with a 4.6 cross bolted block, 500 Griffith, 400 Chimeara and now thinking of a Tuscan.

It's in the blood I think...

Great to see so many long term marque owners, which leads to the question, how many are in for the new car? Which in turn leads to the question, if not, why not?
