Automotech lift - self assembly?

I'm sure someone has worked this out but given there are no 'longitudinal feet' on the bottom of the posts, if a vehicle was much heavier at the front does that not result in a lot of tension in the rear post bolts?
it might just be the way Carl has parked it, but it looks like the lift posts are off centre to the car, so the weight would balancemk1fan said:
I'd be more concerned about the missing bolts on the front edge
Spoken like a surveyor! I’ve used mine for 8 years and have never been too fussy centralising cars, approximations are fine.
I have used mine with 2 arms to raise the rear of my Boxster to bleed the cooling system. Very safe, very capable.

Would another car fit underneath, so using it to keep another car in the garage?
What bolts did you use to secure the pillars? Do they give any guidance to positioning cars before lifting.
If you want to store a car underneath for any period of time you’ll be better off with a four post lift, that way the top car isn’t left with its wheels on full droop What bolts did you use to secure the pillars? Do they give any guidance to positioning cars before lifting.
