Equity Red Star are the underwriters for Classicline. Wait till you have a claim.....

I left Mannings after over a decade as I could get it cheaper from Footman James. This year, my FJ quote went up by around 20% so I looked around; Mannings came in at over £200 more so I tried Adrian Flux - they were around DOUBLE my FJ quote (even with the extra 20%). They tried to say it was to do with the high level of TVR claims - I pointed out that they advertise in the TVR magazine so should be aware and competitive. Ended up taking the FJ increase. FYI, my Griff 500 + Tamora on 2k limited mileage was around £450.

insured my Tuscan along with my other cars with the NFU. All 3 cars came to under £600 all fully comp and all with breakdown cover. Now I know this is not a classic car cover with track days and an agreed valuation, but I dont do track days and only use the Tuscan on nice days. Nfu do cover value of car up to a maximum. ( £30k at present but I can review)
Now I think this sounds ok. If I had gone for agreed valuation when I bought in Nov 2015 it would certainly be out of date now as it appears the value of the car has and is rising quite considerably since then.

It seems to vary from person to person. I tried FJ after hearing some good reviews on here, previous was mannings. Mannings renewal £297. Footman James £748...... obviously stayed with Mannings, classic line were a few quid cheaper and the staff there are really good, however I have heard not great reviews on equity red star, just google them. Mannings and Amlin on the other hand seems spot on if the worse happens.
Just moved from ClassicLine to Footman James and saved £350 (renewal quote from CL was £775, vs £425 from FJ). The FJ policy also includes cover for 3 UK track days, whereas the CL quote was for social and commuting only (no trackday cover). Tried Mannings but they came in at over a grand!
