I haven't really cleaned much Waxoyl off, just muck, I don't know how it's lasted so long without any protection though.
For now I'll just keep it clean, it's only a summer/dry day car and it's kept in a dehumidified garage so I don't think it needs smothering in anything?
I might get some clear protection film to wrap the outriggers which are within the wheel arch, and also where the handbrake cable rubs on the wishbone, and maybe some transparent cable ties

Wow! Looking good. It was waxoyled every year. James has cleaned it off & it looks stunning. When I bought it it had the tidiest chassis I'd ever seen. Haha, glad that Waxoyl worked - it's definitely one of the best I've seen and as James found out, I'm a very fussy bugger!
Definitely won't be getting any snow on him in the garage!
Not totally happy with the holes either side of the front plate, might have to put a slightly bigger one on.

That's (to my knowledge) at least the 4th registration number assigned to that car.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
