came across this picture in a TVR add, it has this on the left and right side (LHD Vixen s4)

never seen it I think, looks strange, like a stronger part for the mirrors to not harm the GRP plastic?

or combo for race car, see now the little light to shine on a number on the door? which now is a road car no number.

Have a look at this then...

yes, thats the car for sale, I think it still is, he says its one from 24 (ah Vixen S4) in that video and that car was RHD now its a LHD.

I'm curious as to why it is registered as a 1984 car? It is road legal with a current MoT though so kudos for that. smile

One of mine from the weekend at a local cars and coffee thing.
You're Devon way arent you? I'm sure our paths have crossed on here before. Is the car and coffee thing re:fuel? Their website is about 5 months out of date and have been waiting on email updates for a new venue. I'm J28, so if you're up for a blast, drop me a PM. Cheers.
I’m in Exeter yeah. This wasn’t Re:Fuel, it was a new-ish one called ‘Builds and Brews’ up in Crediton, good turnout, a lot of chav tat but some really cool stuff too, something for everyone.

I actually chatted to one of the Re:Fuel guys at the weekend and they’re getting their own venue sorted out for the upcoming meets, I understand it’s up towards Cullumpton somewhere but no idea on when the next meet is, if I can make it I’ll give you a message.
It's going to be the old farm fencing place on the Willand Road at Five Bridges.

Think ReFuel has got a bit chavvy the last few meets they had at Dunkeswell. Too many crackle mapped Germans slammed to the floor innit.

If you're happy for a 450 Chimaera to join you any time, let me know!

Bump because I've had my wheels painted.

Can also highly recommend Michelin sport 5 tyres, different league to the Proxes I had on there before.

Getting close to how I want it to be. Needs a wheel badge, and a Chimaera 500 badge. Been enjoying driving it this summer.

Proper Random…

Can’t remember what we were celebrating. Maybe just the fact that we completed a days drag racing without breaking anything!

From left to right, me, mad Barrie, mad Derek, mad Daz and mad Alun.

Good times!

Only just spotted this post now. I never visited the dunkeswell gig but had good intentions. Hopefully they can make a go of it out at willand then, from memory that old fencing place is a bit of a hole so I wonder if they've done it up a bit.
I'm not TVRCC or anything so rarely get out to TVR or car related stuff in general really. No probs for me, a chim and a tuscan would be a bit of fun.

Yeah they've done a bit to it, but the yard is where the cars will park and it's a rutted muddy mess.

Each to their own.

I think it gives a touch of the MG RV8 about it.

And that's a good thing? hehe

Yes I get each to their own and it isn't my car. Just voicing my opinion.

What's the colour? Looks exactly like mine, which I thought was an Aston Martin colour of Cotswold Blue. Turns out that's a metallic grey. laugh

Blue. That’s as much as I can remember. (I only had the car for 17 years hehe)
