That's interesting.

I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of TVRs and I had no idea that the 3000S came with a hard top.

Have you a picture showing the whole thing?

Nice one Ben!

I can't begin to imagine the size of a Costa Rican trucker's Yorkie Bar! yikes

I like the stripes on the truck next to your Chim that kinda complement Kermit's colour.

Your progress is amazing. bow
Good luck for the rest of your epic adventure and please have a virtual pint on me when you arrive at that pub at the end of the universe trip. beer
I'm guessing that there won't be all that many TVRs in the car park. smile
Thanks Glen!

To be honest, the southernmost pub looks pretty damn terrible - I'm sure TVR owners generally have more taste than to go to such a dive...

Here's a photo with a story behind it - we rolled into Panama a few days ago, after 10 days of sleeping rough in the car in No-Man's-Land, trapped between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The reason for this rather uncomfortable existence is that neither country would let the car in, because it's Right Hand Drive, and hence technically illegal in both nations. Even though it had just spent a month rolling around Nicaragua perfectly happily. Go figure...

Anyway, we ended up escaping the border trap by putting the Chim on a truck across Costa Rica to Panama, where we initially encountered another closed door at the border. However, thanks to Pub2Pub's rather influential friends in Panama, the door opened rather quickly... you'd be amazed how effective a call from the Office of the Vice President can be when it comes to speeding things up!

So, this picture is a picture of relief - the Pub2Pub TVR rolling out of No-Man's-Land, to be welcomed into a country for the first time in 10 days... thank you Panama!

Thank you - was a brilliant trip with my (then 15yr old) son - and the Cerb was just brilliant wink

In hindsight the pic would have been nicer with the boot shut, but we'd not long arrived and were getting settled in!

They still had snow on the ground in areas there, particularly our chosen car park which was completely untouched.. and a lot of fun whistle

Hi Peter, I don't think so. When the front end was resprayed and the engine bay too, I found it when I opened the bonnet cool The respray was done by Concept Performance in Sheffield and they never mentioned it confused They also replaced the pedal box bolts with the shiny socket headed type too.
