Just finished a full restoration over two years. Couldn’t decide on colour or wheels so just went with this. I am very unsure of it so staying like this until I can find one I really like.
What is the exact colour if you dont mind me asking.

That is one extra ordinary photo! Epic
It’s breathtaking and it has a Tvr in it. Utterly incredible I hope you write a book about the journey Ben. The photos stir a deep passion we all have to even own a Tvr and I’m sure we all dream of driving around the world in it
Thanks for the inspiration.
A good road trip book is magic
One about a couple driving a Tvr,,,
What a great story
Keep going
I'm planning a book - the one I wrote about the AfricanPorsche Expedition went down pretty well, so a sequel is clearly needed. We've been filming the trip too, and said footage will be seeing the light of day pretty soon, hopefully. In the meantime, here are a few tasters:
Europe leg montage: https://www.facebook.com/Pub2PubExpedition/videos/...
And Boxing day at the races: https://www.facebook.com/Pub2PubExpedition/videos/...
As for the trip - we reached the southernmost bar in Tierra del Fuego this weekend, and are now contemplating the long haul back up through Argentina, to Uruguay, from where we're shipping the car back to Europe. Here are a few pics from the last few weeks; enjoy:
And to all those inspired to do something similar to our plucky little Chim's journey - watch this space, because we're working on something special
Great to see that it's "Mission Accomplished" Ben.
Ben & theTeam:
Such a fantastic achievement deserves a great big "Well done!" from all of us.
Hearty congratulations and thanks for being such a steadfast ambassador for the TVR Marque.
We are all familIar with the reliability of the brand, but you have taken it one step further to increase public awareness and alter any of those misconceptions . What a guy!
It remains to be asked.....
"What was the beer like at the start and finish?" And which was best? And is it worth driving there to sample it?
Hopefully we'll be able to treat you to a pint of Robbie's Best when you come to see us in April to tell us all about your great adventures.
Cheers and WELL DONE!!!
We salute you.

Well done on this most recent adventure. I've been following your progress on Instagram daydreaming of what I should be doing instead of being a wage slave. Amazing adventure, thanks for sharing.....snip....

I hate to say it, but the beer in the extremes of the planet wouldn't trouble the average British pub. Beer-wise, both bars offered only lager, the northernmost being some obscure Russian lager who's name forgets me, but which was big on sharpness, low on depth, while the southern bar's offerings were a bit better. Cerveza Astural is the main beer available at the bottom of Chile, and it's perfectly acceptable, sitting somewhere between Becks Vier and something decent from Belgium.
By the way, there's a funny story about the southernmost bar, which I didn't share on the silky-smooth social media channels, but is probably worth a picture on here. Basically... here's the southernmost bar:
So in a few years, when everyone's forgotten about the minutiae of the expedition, the one thing which everyone will remember is that I'm that guy who spent 7 months driving 23,000 miles around the world to visit a rural Chilean an&l bar...
Gotta be remembered for something, I suppose...
Unfortunately this risks sounding rather trite but: extremely well done Ben & your team!!!
The rest of us are simply highly passive by comparison and your achievement represents something that is far, far easier talked about than done.
Hearty congratulations and many thanks for your very interesting/compelling updates along the way, excellent!
And, oh, very good luck with the planning of your next adventure.

And it did pretty well, quickly rising from obscure local story to become the second most popular story on the BBC, being read 1.5 million times on Saturday morning alone, and spawning similar stories everywhere from the Mirror to Jalopnik, as well as coverage on Radio 2 & 4.
I think it's safe to say that this is the weekend in which TVR's reliable, adventurous spirit went viral...
...yeah, I'm gonna break down tomorrow now, aren't I?!
