Good advice, slight problem however. garage is existing, oh and is part of a Grade II listed building.

I was hoping to fit 2x lifts to park a car under the elevated one.
I have seen that done. Tvr owner, double garage, 4 x TVRs
Nearly there, only problem is that have now sold some to make room for the new one
. daggsy, you are just being greedy wanting 4 biggrinbiggrin

Times are hard OOP NORTH mate ..... we have had to down size and can't afford a 'NEW TVR' so will have to make do with other peoples cast offs !!! laughlaughlaughgetmecoat

Need to be all matching colour ......... as you well know. yes

Trusses arrived at last

floor to bottom of raised truss is 3.4 metres so plenty of height, with a 2.4m width at the top

Roof on by the middle of next week - just got to wait for the door now

Nigel - how high is your roof as that looks pretty tight.
Mark - how big is the garage and be good to see it with car in when its done. I need to replace our 2 single prefab concrete garages with something bigger and better, something similar size wise to your I suspect.

external dimensions are 10m x 6m. I' ve gone for an insulated cavity so that obviously reduces the internal space a bit.
Putting a 4.5m door on

Nigel, I would like to know also as I think looking again at your pic I might just be able to squeeze in a lift + cars.

Hi Paul, the height of my garage was 95 inches ( sorry, still work in old moneysmile). The combined height of my griff (46inches) Sag/T350 (46 inches) plus the thickness of the ramp rails Etc was 100 inches. So, I got a chippy in to remove a couple of the trusses and put some extra bracing in in order to give a bit more height.
so, the top car sits with its roof just in the roof space.

I went for the Hamer lift as it was nice and compact and can be easily dismantled if space needed etc.

Thanks Nigel.
Any updates Mark. I need to put a call into planning to see what is possible. Live in a Listed building so its not going to be straightforward.

Been very busy in the main house due to wife pressure, but the garage structure is now complete.

It needs rendering but that can wait for a while

Currently getting prices for an approx 9m x 6.5m, 3 bay, oak framed garage with doors (no upper floor) and be interested to know who you bought it from Dale. I'm looking at SJR for 2 x 4 post lifts and a 2 post so I can store and work on the cars.
