For a laugh, post a visible question asking if he can pop the tvr body back on before delivery hehe

Why do people do stuff like this....

MMMeh!

Can't understand the logic either. Parts available to re-furb a Chimaera...and the seller said he had looked hard to find a Standard body?

A waste of two interesting cars IMHO.

It's a shame, but it looks like no amount of chilli sauce can rescue that poor doner . frown

The realisation that he was building an unusable lemon set in quite early i suspect.
He would be better of selling the chassis and body separately..

I kinda like the look of it but have some issues like..

the wheels are totally wrong, the backbone chassis does not seem to leave room for seats
and 8 grand for a pile of bits is steep.

Final comment - 'no dreamers'.

Really.

There's a reason people build custom chassis for stuff like this - the TVR barely seats two with the standard body because of the central tubular scaffolding, never mind something half the size where you'd rub shoulders with your passenger.
And will the front of the chassis clear the wings when they're put on?
Shame - nice idea but unlikely it'll ever be driveable.

should have at least painted the rusty outriggers before posting it.

No room for the drivers and passengers legs and feet without widening the body. No photo of the footwell

There was one at Neil Garners open day a couple of years ago that looked interesting

Moggy minor with beetle wings?
Steering wheel looks close to the door but could be the angle of the photo. Loving the exhaust though!

I'm pretty sure I saw that TVR based hotrod on car SOS yesterday. They borrowed its fuel pump to get a Caterham started.
