Group Buy - Curved Pedals for T cars
Discussion
just an update, Metal should arrive today so should take about 10 days to get the 1st lost finished, then I'll work on a send batch for others that want them.
Also I've been speaking to Steward, about the accelerator pedal, he really likes the design below, shown as a singular and as installed via 1st and 2nd links below.

Afternoon All,
Leigh has almost finished the first run.
I have had a conversation with Leigh and he has a concern regarding liability.
Some software modeling has been done to test the pedals but Leigh is not doing this commercially. Therefore, I think it is reasonable to view these pedals the same way that show plates are viewed. That you are purchasing a product for a show car and Leigh cannot be held liable out side of this.
I am confident that they are fit for purpose and will be using them. Compared to the factory ones they have more meat on them. To me, this makes them more robust but that is my opinion.
If anyone is not comfortable with this and wishes to withdraw then please do so. Only purchase if you are happy with this limited liability.

I’m happy to continue. If I’m pressing so hard on the pedal to break it, it’s likely I’ve got bigger problems and the pedal is going to end up somewhere near my knee which in turn will be close to my chin! Leigh has almost finished the first run.

only asking why is the Acceleraton pedal Str8 and not Curved?
Currently I'm only making the curved break and clutch, but working on a Accelerator pedal,This will be straight but of a matching design.
The the previous guy made them there was test done on a curved Accelerator, and at the time it either did not work quite right or did not feel right, from the information I've gathered, so as not to waste a lot of extra development time, I'm going to stick with a flat peddal, but with have a lower curve and ribs as per the others to match,
The idea if for them to look like this.

It might be worth experimenting with the accelerator pedal.
When we tried three pedals of the existing design the accelerator felt wrong due to the grip. i don't think the fact that it was curved was an issue.
Nah ..It's obviously a rubbish idea having a curved accelerator pedal the experts have spoken When we tried three pedals of the existing design the accelerator felt wrong due to the grip. i don't think the fact that it was curved was an issue.

If that is really the case, then I don't think its worth me wasting any more time on the accelerator pedal, esp as I've not got a T car to test on, as its takes over a week to make each new prototype, unless you think it's worth having the same design with no ridges. if not maybe best to just stick to the two that people know is ok.When we tried three pedals of the existing design the accelerator felt wrong due to the grip. i don't think the fact that it was curved was an issue.

Yes you they come with Bronze bushes, so you don't have to remove the plastic ones and try to re-fit them, as I found it very hard to remove them without damage ,they look better also.
your need to remove the smaller ones that go on the pivot pin, but these come out easily
