Intbe cold light of day, all these type of ccars, hand built, low volume high end market price, they build them specifficly for this reason, keeps residues up and demand sufficient, to turn a good profit.
If I was TVR I would build a super sounding great driving fast SUV, only because thats where the pressant market is, with around 40% of the new car sales.
Make money, then you can build low vokume sport cars, sorry SUV???? Thats where the money and market is at pressant

In all seriousness to the OP I’d say take a punt.
A deposit is a deposit as far as TVR are concerned and the LE cars will be a genuine bargain compared to the standard priced cars that follow.
