Well I think time is a great healer and although I still have regrets over missing out on Mac's old 450 I have made a big step to move past this.

Had a busy car movement week which has seen the blue 4200 I was selling go. Also the Chimaera has gone in return for something from the AM stable ??

I'm not a fan of the silver wrapped N430 esque bits though so they may be removed.

Having just bought the V8 Vantage when this one fell out of bed a little while back. Then also buying Mark Hunter's old Red Chimaera 500 my bank balance is on fumes. I would have loved to have bought it Rob but I have scraped together what I can from the back of the sofa and everywhere but am shy of what is needed to buy it.

They say timing is everything and it seems my timing is a little off-kilter. Also that things happen for a reason. Not sure what that is at the moment.

I think someone somewhere is telling me that this car isn't destined for me!

Well that doesn't sound good.

Had a similar thing with a Volvo V40 we had a while back as the ECU was in the front nearside wheel arch. Took it out and dried it on the Rayburn over night and was good as gold after that.

Only just noticed the number plate letter. In my IT/tech world EOL stands for End Of Life. I am convinced this Chimaera is trying to tell me something smile

Thanks Rob. Much appreciated that you came to me first with the first option to buy. Shame I haven't got any more cash than I've offered in order to buy it. Or shame it wasn't before I bought the Red 500 or it could have been very different.

I'm sure you'll sell it quick enough as it seems a lovely example. Not that I've actually seen it in the flesh as yet but from all I've been told and read about it.

If you feel the need to give me an early Christmas present though I'm here and waiting for you wink Similarly if I win the lottery or some cash lands in my bank account I'll let you know.

I can 100% agree with your there Rob in keeping rlthe running cost low, tight and efficient. Makes a big difference to reduce initial stresses, strains and pressures finding smaller X's each month.

I started my business in 2002 in the lounge of my old flat. Grew it a bit and got people and offices then shrunk back down a bit to keep it small, manageable and more importantly profitable.

Good luck with it and hope it goes well.

If you want to send me over the details on the 4200 I can let my guys know on the Sports Maserati forum as there may be some interest from people on there.

Just come back from an even at Castle Combe with some of them.
